We look forward to seeing you tomorrow (Thursday, October 15) for Parent-Teacher Conference Day at your child’s school. Students will be dismissed early, and conferences will be held at all schools. Parents should contact their child’s teacher or school to schedule a conference.

Dear Cub Families,

Parent-teacher conferences are on Thursday of this week and we dismiss at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Please pick up your child in the car rider line no later than 11:45 a.m. so that all staff can begin scheduled conferences on time.

Also, please be on time for your conference and allow teacher to end the conference on time so that we are respectful of the next appointment. If you need additional time, ask the teacher to schedule a follow-up meeting or phone call with you.

Friday is a workday and there is no school for students.

🚒🔥 Safety first, future heroes! 🔥🚒

Our third graders had an exciting and educational time learning all about fire safety! From important safety tips to learning how our community helpers keep us safe, it was a great day of learning.

A HUGE thank-you to Safe Kids, Cramerton Fire Department, Gaston County Emergency Management and Fire Services, and CaroMont Health for taking the time to visit Lowell and share these valuable lessons with our Cubs! ❤️💙

We can’t wait to see our students bring their favorite storybook characters to life on Friday, October 30th! 🧚‍♀️🦁

📖 Students should dress as a storybook character and bring the book that matches their costume.

🚫 Please remember: No masks or toy weapons.

Our Pre-K class is collecting dog and cat food for a special community outreach project! Donations of dry or canned food are welcome. ❤️

Every donation, big or small, will help provide for pets in need. Thank you for supporting our Pre-K students as they learn the importance of kindness and giving back to our community! 🐶🐱💙

Dear Cub Families,

Our end-of-quarter, parent-teacher conference day is fast approaching. If you have not yet signed up for a parent-teacher conference time, please be sure to schedule one this week with your child's teacher for the conference day, which is on October 15th. School dismisses at 11:30 that day so that conferences may begin. Your participation in this conference is very important.

You should also be signed up to check your child's grades online. Report cards will not be printed and sent home this year, so it is extremely important for you to be connected. If you aren't already, be sure to let your child's teacher know that you need help getting connected to see your child's grades.

Also, we have been in school for almost 40 days. If your child has missed more than 2 days, he or she has less than a 95% attendance rate, which can negatively impact academic progress. Please make school attendance a priority.
