Facilities Management will be conducting line striping in the Fox Lot, Perkins Lot, Cumnock Lot, and Wilder Staff Lot on Friday night.

These lots will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14th. All vehicles must be removed from the affected lots by 5:00 p.m. to avoid disrupting the scheduled maintenance.

East Garage
Lawrence Drive, behind River Hawk Village
Riverside Lots A & B
Broadway Lot

Parking permits for the 2026-2027 Academic year are now available! Reminder that every vehicle requiring a license to operate that is parked in a university parking lot must have a parking permit. Make sure to order before Aug 31st to avoid losing access to parking lots and gates. For your convenience you may apply for a parking permit online at https://myparking.uml.edu/

Due to events at the Tsongas Center parking will be restricted Thursday 7/16 through Sunday 7/19 in the Tsongas lots. Parking will not be allowed during this time to those with a UML Parking Permit. Lots will be for event parking only and vehicles are subject to towing by the Tsongas Center if needed.

The LRTA Announces The Current Fare Free Program Has Been Extended Through September 30, 2026 for Fixed Bus Routes.

(Fares may resume 10/1/2026 Subject to State Funding)

The LRTA wants to Thank Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, as well as the Massachusetts State Legislature for funding this Fare Free Transportation Program that will greatly benefit our communities.

The City of Lowell will be conducting road work on a portion of Perkins Street between Aiken Street and Cabot Street on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

During this time, Perkins Street will be closed between Aiken Street and Cabot Street. Detour signs will be in place to help direct traffic.

Parking Access: Lawrence Drive / Perkins Lot will remain accessible from Suffolk Street via the driveway between River Hawk Village and the Hoff Center. Alternate parking will also be available in the East Garage.

Please allow extra travel time and follow all posted detour signage. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed.

Due to events at the Tsongas Center parking will be restricted Wednesday 6/24 through Friday 6/26 in the Tsongas lots. Parking will not be allowed during this time to those with a UML Parking Permit. Lots will be for event parking only and vehicles are subject to towing by the Tsongas Center if needed.

Due to events at the Tsongas Center, parking will be restricted in the Tsongas Center lots on the following dates and times:

Monday, June 1 – No parking permitted after 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 3 – No parking permitted all day
Thursday, June 4 – No parking permitted after 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 6 – No parking permitted all day
Monday, June 8 – No parking permitted all day
Tuesday, June 9 – No parking permitted after 2:00 p.m.

During these restricted periods, Tsongas Center lots will be reserved for event parking only. Vehicles displaying a UMass Lowell parking permit will not be permitted to park in these lots during the listed times and may be subject to towing at the direction of the Tsongas Center.

Please pay attention to all posted signage at the lots for the most up to date restrictions and event parking information.

Accessible drop-off and pick-up is available directly in front of the Tsongas Center before and after the event.

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located on Cabot Street between Hall Street and Perkins Street.
