ear Wang School Community,

We are excited to announce the Wang Middle School Walk-a-Thon, taking place on Friday October 9 from 12:00-2:00 at the Wang Middle School. This event will bring our students and staff together for a fun, active day while raising funds that directly benefit Wang students.

Our school-wide fundraising goal is $25,000. Donations will support:

Student field trips for grades 5-8
Reduced costs for the Grade 8 Washington, D.C. trip
Student activities for grades 5-8
Wang Middle School culture initiatives
We are asking each family to consider setting a goal of raising $100 in pledges. For example, ten donations of $10 will reach that goal. This is only a suggested goal—not a requirement. Every donation and every student’s participation make a difference.

How to Donate

Families may donate through our secure Givebutter page using the link below or by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer:

Wang Middle School Walk-A-Thon Give Butter Donation Link

When donating, please include the student’s first and last name and homeroom so we can credit the donation appropriately.

How to Share the Fundraiser

To invite family members and friends to support your student:

Open the Givebutter link above.
Copy the link from your browser.
Share it by text message, email, or social media.
Ask donors to include your student’s name and homeroom with their donation.
You may also save or take a screenshot of the QR code and share it with family and friends. They can scan it with their phone’s camera to open the donation page.

Thank you for helping us make the Walk-a-Thon a successful and memorable event for our students. We appreciate your support of the Wang Middle School community!

Warmly,

Andrea Gobbi
