Lowell Elementary School Lowell Elementary serves students in grades K-5 in Lowell, Arkansas. A rich history exists in the city of Lowell and at the Lowell School.

HISTORY:
Lowell Elementary School is located along the Arkansas Missouri Railroad Line, the Trail of Tears, and the Butterfield Coach Route. As a Lowell Elementary alumnus and a Rogers High School graduate, former State Representative, David Matthews said, "All of us who had the opportunity to learn, play and grow at Lowell School have been blessed. I have had the pleasure of growing up in the community and experiencing Lowell Elementary School as a student, and now my children have made their way through the halls as well." In the fall of 2004 the Rogers School District opened its newest elementary school just across 71B (Bloomington) in Lowell. It was proudly named after Elza Tucker, who attended Lowell Elementary School in the 1920's. SCHOOL SONG:

🔦📚 It’s Flashlight Friday in First Grade! 📚🔦

Today, we’re making reading fluency a little more FUN with Flashlight Friday! Our students are using flashlights to practice reading fluently while building their confidence, accuracy, and reading speed!

A HUGE thank you to one of our wonderful classroom parents for donating a class set of one-minute sand timers! ⏳ Students can now time themselves as they read, see how much they can read in one minute, and work toward improving their personal best!

We love finding creative ways to make learning engaging and meaningful! Flashlight Friday is just one of the many fun ways we practice reading fluency in our classroom! 💡📖
