Please visit our website at africanfestivallowell.org for more info. All are welcome! The first was held at the J.F. Kennedy Civic Center in downtown Lowell.

This festival is a fun and family friendly event that features many facets of the African continental culture and its community in the USA. The African Cultural Association was borne out of the annual African Festival that has been held in Lowell since 2000. It was a great success and received favorable reviews from both the Lowell Sun and the Boston Globe. It has continued as an annual event featuring performing arts, as well as traditional and modern African arts and crafts.
