Fall Creek® has signed an exclusive propagation and sales license agreement with Lucchini Berries for Easy Rose® 'ALEL101', a raspberry developed by Elisa and Alessandro Lucchini in Verona, Italy.

Easy Rose® 'ALEL101' is now in its fourth year of cultivation and has been evaluated and planted in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Morocco and Egypt. It has shown flexibility across different growing conditions and production systems, while producing high-quality fruit with good shelf life.

The agreement is another step in the growth of Fall Creek’s raspberry and blackberry business. Fall Creek will now support the next stage through nursery production, grower support and continued evaluation in new markets.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! The North American Blueberry Council 2026 Blueberry Convention kicks off in Monterey Bay, California! Fall Creek is proud to be a sponsor of this very important industry event and is excited to have an expanded team in attendance. Timing was perfect for a number of our global Applied Research and Grower Support team members to attend along with our Grower Support Representative Scott Herron, Director of Product Management Tom Spaulding, and Retail Category Manager Mike Tucker.

Watch for our team members in meetings or at our booth ( #37) during the trade show portions. Talk to them about our latest variety innovations including our new high chill varieties: Everlast™ 'FC11-164' in the Fall Creek® Collection platform and Sekoya® Nova 'FC15-173' in the Sekoya® platform. Our team has decades of blueberry experience and this is a great opportunity to discuss your plantings or future projects with our knowledgeable team.
