Participants in the UMLSP and UMLYO learn to play stringed instruments and experience how music can enrich both the individual and one's community.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell String Project provides high-quality stringed-instrument instruction and creative music classes to Lowell Public School students. The program restores a vital music education component in the Lowell Public Schools. The project fosters musical enjoyment and self-expression, encourages student leadership, parental participation, and the sharing of musical accomplishments with the Lowell community.

The Groton Hill Event this Saturday (May 6th) has been CANCELLED. I know there were several students excited for tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to reschedule the event for next year.

Our Spring Showcase has finally arrived! The concert begins at 7PM tonight and the call time is 5PM.
Please arrive on time to your scheduled call time to ensure that your student is able to participate in our scheduled sound checks on the Concert Hall stage.
Please also remember that rental instruments will be returned after the concert. Please leave them in 113 but feel free to take your name tags from the case
