🚧 IT’S OFFICIAL — CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY! 🚧
After years of planning, designing, fundraising, and dreaming, construction has officially begun on the new LCCPS Athletic & Community Center!
Crews are now on site at 225 & 259 Middlesex Street, beginning the transformation of these properties into an incredible new space for our students, families, and the greater Lowell community.
When complete, the project will feature a state-of-the-art gymnasium, two new playgrounds, a new centrally located elevator tower, and significant site and program improvements—all directly connected to our existing campus in the heart of historic Downtown Lowell.
A project of this magnitude is only possible because of the tremendous commitment and partnership of so many. We are incredibly grateful to our Board of Trustees, donors and supporters, financial partners, the Learn to Lead Foundation of Lowell, and our School Building Committee for believing in this vision and helping us reach this exciting milestone.
Most importantly, this project is about our students and their future. The Athletic & Community Center represents another major investment in our campus and our commitment to providing LCCPS students with the facilities, opportunities, and experiences they deserve.
🏗️ The planning is done. The work is underway. Let’s build!
