WE HAVE POWER! 🔌⚡️💡

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding with our early closing today. We always try our best to stay open as long and as safely as possible because we know you all have important places to be.

We’re happy to announce that Brookside will be OPEN tomorrow during our regular operating hours! 🎉

Just to be on the safe side, please consider packing lunches for the rest of the week that do not require a microwave. Thermoses are a great option and keep food warm until lunchtime!

Thank you again for being so understanding today. We’ll see everyone tomorrow! ❤️ We hope all of our Brookside families are staying safe and that those still without power have it restored very soon! ⚡️

If power is not restored by 11am, we will have the kids eat lunch and be closing the building at 12pm due to rising indoor temperatures. Please check remind and Facebook for updates.

Brookside will open tomorrow, however we still do not have power. Due to this, we ask that you do not pack lunch items that need to be heated up (as we will be unable to do so if the power is not restored by then). Also, if indoor temperatures become uncomfortable for children and staff, we will call for an early dismissal. Please have a back up plan in place, or be able to pick your child up within one hour of a potential early dismissal notification.

Everyone is safe from the storm. We do not have power, and the building is getting very warm. In addition to no power, our cellular services are barely working. Remind isn’t loading and our phone is hit or miss with service. We will respond to calls/texts if we can receive them. We would greatly appreciate if you can pick up your children as soon as possible.

All tours that were schedule for this evening will be cancelled and rescheduled once our power returns.

Please pack swimsuits, towels, refillable water bottles, and sunscreen for the kiddos everyday this week (weather permitting). We will be using the water slide. Don’t forget, today we are also grilling out hotdogs. If your child wants to eat at Brookside, you do not need to pack a lunch today 😊 🌭
