🚒🐾 It’s National Fire Prevention Week! 🔥

At Little Scouts Academy, we love incorporating real-life learning experiences into our preschool curriculum!

This week, our little learners explored the importance of fire safety, discussed what firefighters do, and learned about the important role they play in keeping our communities safe! ❤️

Of course, we had to add a little hands-on creativity to our learning! Meet Ky from our preschool class, proudly showing off her adorable Dalmatian paper bag puppet, Spot! 🐶❤️

We love seeing our preschoolers learn through meaningful conversations, creativity, and hands-on activities that connect to the world around them!

Little hands, big learning! 🐾🚒

The beaded pumpkins turned out so good - love craft time! Plus, what a great way to work on gross motor skills.

Little Scouts Academy has been off to such a fun and wonderful start! We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received in Cedar Lake and wanted to share a few updates. 💚

Our outdoor play area will be ready to open this spring!

We’re continuing to accept late and midyear enrollment for:

• Preschool: All sessions
• Homeschool Enrichment: Daytime and afternoon sessions for kindergarten only
• After-School Enrichment & Tutoring: Grades K–8, from 3–5 PM, with 30, 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions

More spots may open in January, and we’ll keep everyone updated. We’ll also begin offering tours in mid-November for families who would like to visit.

If you’d like to connect with us, please email us or fill out the Connect With Us form on our website. Those are the best ways to reach us and help us keep track of your inquiry, since we receive so many messages on social media.

Registration for the 2027–2028 school year will begin in mid-January for Preschool and our K–5 Academy.

Thank you again for such a wonderful welcome to Cedar Lake!
