Jessica Wilkerson

Jessica Wilkerson I teach you how to shift from survival to self-leadership—
So your home becomes a space of trust, not tension. Presence, not pressure. Love, not fear.

Welcome to The Whole Healed Mother.

05/11/2025

Mother’s Day can feel complicated.
Especially when the relationship with your own mother left more wounds than warmth.

If that’s true for you, you’re not broken—you’re awake.
You’re carrying the awareness that your inner child still aches even as your own children reach for you with love.

Here’s what I want you to know:
You’re allowed to hold both.
You’re allowed to honor the pain without letting it define today.

Because the truth is—what you didn’t receive doesn’t have to bleed into what you’re building.
You can name the old story and still choose the one you’re writing now.

The presence you craved is the presence you’re learning to give.
Not perfectly. But consciously.
And that’s what creates a new legacy.

So if today feels tender—breathe.
You’re allowed to grieve what wasn’t.
And still fully receive what is.

This is your day, too.
Not just to be celebrated, but to feel the quiet power of the story you’re rewriting.
You are the safe place now.
And that is something to be proud of.

Happy Mother’s Day.

I didn’t create this work just to help mothers stop yelling.

I created it to help women stop disappearing—in motherhood, in survival mode, in the pressure to hold it all together.

Because calm isn’t about being quieter.
It’s not about suppressing your feelings or “getting it right.”

It’s about becoming more of yourself—even when life is loud.

The deeper work I do starts with nervous system access—
But it always leads to identity reclamation.

You can raise conscious children and live a life that feels connected, expressed, and meaningful to you.
You don’t have to choose between presence and power. You were made for both.

If you’re feeling this… I have something for you.

My free Calm Access Guide™ will help you catch the moment before the spiral—so you can start leading yourself with compassion, not shame.

Message me directly, and I’ll send it to you personally.

Because the moment before the moment… is everything.
And this time, you don’t have to miss it.

"Motherhood burnout doesn’t always look like you think.
It doesn’t always look like falling apart—it often looks like holding everything together on the outside while feeling disconnected on the inside.

It looks like:

Snapping over something small and feeling the guilt wash over you.

Saying yes when you desperately need to say no.

Feeling like there’s nothing left to give—but giving anyway.

And while the parenting world tells you to lean in and connect more with your child when they’re struggling…

I have to ask:

Who’s asking you if you feel connected to yourself first?

Because giving connection from empty reserves is the fastest track to burnout.

And no script or parenting strategy can refill what’s been drained from you.

Here’s what I believe:

Your needs matter.
Your connection to yourself matters.
And no one benefits when you’re running on empty.

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing more about how this impacts connection with your kids—and why what you’ve been told might not be the full picture.

For now, I’d love to know:

What has burnout looked like for you lately?"

For a long time, I thought if I could just learn the right parenting strategy, I’d finally be the calm, connected mother I wanted to be.

I knew the scripts. I read the books. I had all the tools.

But then the chaos of the day would hit—the meltdowns, the mess, the moments where everything feels like too much—and all of that knowledge would vanish. Instead of staying calm, I’d snap. I’d shut down. And then the guilt would flood in.

At night, I’d lie awake thinking:

Why can’t I hold it together?
Am I ruining my kids?
What’s wrong with me?

What I know now is this:

It wasn’t that I didn’t love my children enough.
It wasn’t that I lacked the tools.
It was that my body was stuck in survival mode—reactive, tense, on edge.

No parenting hack was ever going to fix that.

The real work wasn’t about changing my kids’ behavior. It was about healing me. Releasing the pressure that had been building inside for years. Calming my stress response. Learning to lead myself through the chaos, instead of forcing myself to stay calm.

That’s when everything shifted.
Not because I became perfect.
But because I became present.

This is the work I guide mothers through now.

And if this feels like your story too, I want you to know—you’re not alone. You’re not broken. There’s a different way, and it starts with you.

I’ve got something coming next week to help you take the first step toward real, lasting calm. If you want early access or feel called to learn more, drop a 💛 in the comments or send me a message.

We don’t need to try harder. We need to heal deeper.

If you’ve been feeling like you're failing at the one thing that matters most… you are not alone.

Most mothers are trying to stay calm using willpower—while their nervous system is screaming that they’re not safe.

I’m here to change that.

Follow this page and get ready to unlearn everything that’s keeping you stuck in survival mode.

Because motherhood doesn’t have to feel like this—and you don’t have to do it alone.

Dear mothers of the world,

The greatest gift you can give your children is that of self love. When we truly love ourselves we CAN forgive ourselves, be more self compassionate, dismiss the guilt and shame much faster, we can laugh off what would have had us uptight and worried what others think....we wouldn't care what others think. If you could love you for all that you are and see your greatness, you would never wonder how it is that we can mess up SO much and our littles still adore us. When we love ourselves we heal, we strengthen, we breathe and all that we know we have in us to give we are able to give to our children in greater degrees and in greater ease. And then, like a cleansing rain, the struggles lessen. The overwhelm lightens. The joy and connection comes more naturally and you are free and because you are free, your children are too.

Shame. It’s been a big part of the parenting conversation the last few years, but what no one IS talking about when it comes to shame is the effects it has on the brain...and we REALLY need to be.

The hard truth is, if we are in shame, we are speaking shame, likely shaming our kids and passing shame culture on to them and that has DEVASTATING consequences for us and ESPECIALLY for them and their ability to feel connected to us.

What if there was an easy way to identify if you’re in shame or if your kids are AND what you can do about it?

Join me LIVE inside my group (link below) tomorrow at 12:30 PST to find out "The Truth About Shame and Relationships".
