Hey, Class of 1980 we are an honor class this year! I dropped off the alumni radar when we moved to our farm 7 years ago. Just now reached out to get my contact information added so I can keep up with any news about the weekend of September 19 - 20.
Do any of you have any updates or know what we want to do?

You start dying slowly
If you do not travel,
If you do not read,
If you do not listen to the sounds of life,
If you do not appreciate yourself.

You start dying slowly
When you kill your self-esteem,
When you refuse to let others help you.

You start dying slowly
If you become a slave to your habits,
Walking the same paths every day...
If you do not change your routine,
If you do not wear different colors,
Or speak to people you don’t know.

You start dying slowly
If you avoid feeling passion
And the turbulent emotions—
The ones that make your eyes glisten
And your heart race.

You start dying slowly
If you do not risk the safe for the uncertain,
If you do not chase a dream,
If you do not allow yourself,
At least once in your life,
To run away from sensible advice.

Don’t let yourself die slowly.
Remember to be happy!

Hey, Class of 1980! The Class of 1979 have invited us to join their reunion this year (since ours didn't happen last year due to the pandemic). Alumni weekend is September 17-19, 2021. Please let me know if you plan to attend. We are coordinating numbers and guesstimating a number for lunch. Unfortunately, I am planning my husbands 'big' birthday party for Saturday, September 18, and will not be attending this year. I would be happy to set up a Zoom call and maybe we can connect at some point during the day on Saturday? Let me know. Take care, Lorrie

Just now noticed this on the Class of '79 page. Belated RIP, Mr. Asher. 😢

After a brave and valiant 18-year battle with renal cell carcinoma and beating it three times, Larry Asher passed away on Jan. 28 in Palm Desert, California, during his fourth
