Hulafish Survival Swim School

Hello, I am Jenny Gentry, a certified Infant Aquatics Survival Swimming instructor. I am a mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother of 6 very active grandchildren. Most of my life has been happily caring for and working with children. I am a huge believer in that it really does “take a village to raise a child” and provide for their well-being. That is one of the many reasons that I am so thrilled to be bringing this valuable and much-needed service to the families and friends of my community in Loveland, Colorado. Even with an adult present, it can take only seconds for a water accident to occur, whether it be in one of our many local pools, rivers, ponds, drainage ditches, etc. With the training and expertise that I received from Infant Aquatics, I will be teaching your child the swim-float-swim method, developed by the world-renowned swimming survival specialist, Judy Heumann. I am so excited to teach the children of my communities this self-saving skill which will not only empower them, but will also give you, the parent, the peace-of-mind of knowing that they will instinctively know what to do in the case of a water mishap. You will be quickly amazed, and applauding, their transformation into confident swimmers/floaters in just a very short period of time! After attending my oldest granddaughter’s first Infant Aquatics swimming class, taught by one of Judy’s instructors, I knew right then and there, that I just had to be a part of this amazing program! Believe it or not, the skills that Lou learned from her teacher actually saved her life one day during a very scary pool mishap! Most of my career life has been as a business owner and entrepreneur, but the last 9 years have been spent working in the local school system with youth of all ages, including those with special needs. Having a deep faith and strong work ethic, I have always believed that no matter what you are doing, do it with love and with passion…even the smallest of tasks. Your precious ones will be taught in a safe and nurturing environment and given a gift that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I am so proud and excited to be a part of the Infant Aquatic team of instructors. A big and heartfelt “thank you” goes out to Judy and her team of amazing professionals who were not only supportive and encouraging, but became dear friends in the process of this very intense training program. I am looking forward to meeting and spending time with each and every one of you and your beautiful children and to provide them with the lifesaving water skills to promote a lifelong love and respect for the water.
