If you’re in Lexington, stop by and meet Anatomy In Clay® Education Consultant Laura Gray at booth 54. She’ll be at our booth until 4:30 p.m. today and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. tomorrow. Take a closer look at the EQUIKEN® Classic 1, our hands-on equine anatomy model, and see how building muscles in clay helps learners understand how a horse’s body works.

Do I Have to Buy New Clay Every Year? The short answer: No!

ANATOMY IN CLAY® modeling clay is specially formulated for us and is oil-based, which means it won’t dry out. With proper care, it can be used for years—allowing educators to reuse it class after class without continually purchasing new clay.

And with a wide range of colors to choose from, educators and students have plenty of flexibility when building. We provide suggested colors for different anatomical structures and body systems to help create consistency and make identification easier, but how you use the colors is entirely up to you.

That means less time replacing materials and more opportunities for students to build, explore, and understand anatomy with their own hands.

There’s a difference between seeing anatomy on a page and experiencing it with your own hands.

During an in-depth hands-on workshop using the EQUIKEN® Classic 1 Model, this student was able to build and explore equine anatomy layer by layer—seeing both the deep and superficial muscles and, most importantly, understanding how they all work together.
