Think you’ve got an idea worth testing? Prove it.

Build something. Challenge an assumption. Solve a problem. Test an idea nobody else has bothered to test.

The 14th Annual Thompson School District Science Fair is open to students in grades 6–12 — and we’re looking for students ready to do more than just talk about big ideas.

🏆 Gift cards (courtesy of Thompson Education Foundation) + awards
🚀 Top projects may advance to regional and state competition
💰 Higher-level competitions can open doors to prize money, scholarships and other opportunities

This isn’t about making a poster and calling it science.
It’s about taking on a real problem.
Testing your idea. Pushing it further. Proving what works.
And creating something strong enough to stand out, compete, and make an impact.

So here’s the challenge: What can YOU discover, improve, invent or prove?

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 (𝘾𝘼𝙃𝙀𝘾) and features the America Dental Education Association's Bridging Pathways to Oral Health Careers Program. Participants will take part in hands-on activities including creating tooth models, practicing plaque removal, reviewing oral case studies, and more!

From exploring hands-on career technical programs to checking out modern campus spaces, our students got a firsthand look at what higher education and trade pathways have to offer after graduation.
