We are excited to officially announce Amy Ave as Mountain View High School's new head boys and girls tennis coach! She stepped up this past fall as an interim head coach for the boys tennis program and did a fantastic job.
Amy is excited to join the MVHS Tennis program, bringing years of experience as an active parent, paraprofessional, and community leader. She is passionate about cultivating a team dynamic that everyone can be a leader. Her personal philosophy focuses on empowering young student-athletes to step into leadership roles, emphasizing that “We need to step back so THEY can step up.” With tennis being an individual game played as a team, she believes there is another level of athleticism to be practiced, where tennis is a lifetime sport that anyone of any age or level can play. She will strive to create a welcoming environment where something new can be learned daily. She is so blessed to be a part of this sport and team at Mountain View and can’t wait to see what each future season brings!
