On Thursday, October 9 from 11-12pm at Booth 304, Dr. Dean Hendrickson, DVM, MS, DACVS, Founder/CEO of SurgiReal Products, Inc. will discuss the benefits of a stepwise suture training program focusing on the single layer translucent suture pad and the multi-layer suture pad with dermal layer. He will discuss appositional suture patterns as well as tension relieving suture patterns. He will show the benefits of the tension base to mimic wounds with tension as well as the ability to relax the pad so there is no tension. The I&D pad demo will highlight the benefits of this specialty pad for abscess drainage along with cyst removal. Hand ties and deep cavity ties will be demonstrated with the knot board.
