A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible families who joined us for PBIS Night! 🌟
It was wonderful seeing everyone explore our stations around the school, learn about how we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) every day, and gather some fun, easy ideas to try out at home.

Mark your calendars! Tomorrow, Thursday October 1st is October Count Day across Colorado—and it is one of the most important days of the school year for our community!
What is October Count Day?
October Count is an annual statewide event led by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). Every single student who is enrolled and present in class on this day directly helps secure vital funding for our school. State per-pupil revenue—which pays for essential classroom materials, special programs, teachers, and school resources—is calculated based on the students in their desks on October 1st.
How can you help?
The best way to support our school is simply by ensuring your child arrives on time and stays for the full day on October 1st.
Fun Incentives! To make the day extra special and celebrate our school community, we may even have some fun surprises and incentives planned for students who are in attendance on October 1st! You won't want your student to miss out on the fun.
We love seeing your children every day, and having every student counted on October 1st ensures we receive the full funding needed to give them the best learning experience possible all year long.
Thank you so much for your partnership, support, and help in making October Count Day a success!

✨ STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MRS. HARTMAN ✨
We are so excited to highlight Mrs. Hartman as she celebrates her 27th year of teaching at Namaqua Elementary!
When she isn't guiding our wonderful 2nd graders, she loves spending quality time with her family, which includes her husband, their three sons, and her sweet granddaughter.

Mrs. Hartman stays busy with a variety of fun hobbies—you might find her making jewelry, cheering on her favorite football team, camping, relaxing on a beach, or traveling abroad!

She’s a big fan of the color purple, loves sipping on a cool Fanta, and enjoys visits to Texas Roadhouse and trips up to Breckenridge. Thank you for all that you do for our school community, Mrs. Hartman! 💜🍎
