We’ve got four wonderful students taking part in this year’s TSD Middle School Honor Band! Congratulations to Hadley, Isabel, Sami, and Allison for their successful auditions, which earned them a spot in this ensemble of the district’s finest middle school musicians. If you’d like to come hear this ensemble and their incredible work, their concert is tonight at Mountain View High, 7pm!

Please help me congratulate our Jazz Band on earning Superior and Excellent ratings at the last Friday! Students performed extremely well, and were treated to a clinic with the incredible afterward. The third picture is of LeClerc Bingo, a game invented by 😂 Way to go, band!!!

Our Band program had a STACKED week of action this past week, but it all came to a close with our 8th Grade Band returning to the CBA Middle School Festival yesterday.
Mr. LeClerc is incredibly proud to share that the band received an ‘Excellent’ rating on their performance this year, which is the second highest a band can receive! The work these students have put into their craft since their first CBA experience last year is evident not only by this award, but also by the confidence in which they took the stage to deliver their program yesterday. Please help congratulate the 8th graders on such an awesome achievement!

Our 7th and 8th graders had a wonderful time working with guest clinician Dan Bell yesterday in preparation for our Winter Concert!
We learned so much about the importance of posture, tone quality, and pitch production. Thanks again for visiting Mr. Bell!

Our Jazz Band did a wonderful job of spreading holiday cheer with their music (and candy canes) at the Foothills Mall yesterday!

Our Jazz Band had a jolly old time at ‘ Santa Breakfast fundraiser! Thanks to all their directors and students for running such a beautiful event, and congrats to our kids for sounding WONDERFUL!
This band will be out at the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins next Sunday 12/10 from 2 to 3pm! Swing by to hear these talented kids spread some cheer 🎄

It’s the Friday before Thanksgiving break, and Mr. L is especially thankful for the students that helped to form our first ever LEMS Pep Band! These students volunteered their time after school last Wednesday to bring our community a real home game experience, and helped lead the LEMS varsity basketball team to a victory!
We’ll do it all one more time after school on Monday, 11/27 if you’d like to join us for the team’s final home game of the season. In the meantime, please enjoy some quality downtime with your families over this coming break, and LET’S GO CATS!

Congratulations to 2 more of our own band students, Teruki Shabram and Cassidy Russell on incredible recital performances last weekend!
Teruki played Beethoven’s timeless piece Für Elise, and Cass jammed on a swing jazz beat. Help us commend these students for all the hard work they put into their music even outside of our program!
Shoutout to for housing a wonderful studio for our community to explore their musical interests in so many ways! If you’re looking to get your students lessons in voice, guitar, bass, piano, or drums, definitely check them out 🎸🥁🎹

Congratulations to a couple of our incredible band students, 6th grader Addelyn Sell and 7th grader Annabelle Skorey on playing incredible piano recitals last weekend!
Addelyn is one of our percussionists and Annabelle is a bassoonist, but both of their talents on piano are remarkable. Annabelle also plays piano in our Jazz Band, which you'll be able to hear on December 2nd at the Santa Breakfast Fundraiser! 🎅
