I had 18 hours to reflect on this conference driving home, and I would like to take a moment for some specific thank you’s! First, thank you to the speakers and attendees for taking time out of your busy lives to attend! I realized many of you were there based on faith in us (and not many details on topics 🫣), and for that we are grateful. It was humbling to watch you all walk through those doors and make this vision of Steve’s a reality. A special thank you to Dr. Jimmy Johnson and Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance for hosting, it was fitting to hold this inaugural conference where it all started 19 years ago.
To our team, our family.
Thank you for the collaboration, the grunt work, the fun work, the laughs, the tears, and the dreams. Not pictured are our kids, Christian and Courtney who support us just as much as we support them. ❤️
To our friends and sponsors. Cody Ovnicek (EDSS), and Lou Austin (Red Horse Products, UK), we are grateful you were able to join us. We are all small family based businesses doing big things, and we are so appreciative for your support.
To the ZHTP Graduates!
This was the most graduates we have had in one room and it felt like a family reunion! You all have taken this on as your own, and challenged yourselves and others to raise the bar, and you are integral in the future and longevity of ZHTP and hoofcare in general. It was so fun to have you all there.
And last but certainly not least-to Steve.
I feel like I am never able to properly thank you because I am overwhelmed with emotions every time. Thank you for always asking for better-out of everyone. You would never ask anyone to do anything you wouldn’t do, and obviously it takes a small army to just try to keep up. I hope it was fun for you to see a piece of your vision you had all those years ago show up in real life.
