🐾 Wildcats boys basketball season is fast approaching! Here is your quick reminder on key dates and deadlines to get ready for the court: 🏀

- Optional Open Gym: Monday, October 5 – Wednesday, October 7 | 4:15–5:30 PM

- Registration Deadline: Friday, October 9 (Online registration and payment must be completed before tryouts)

- Tryouts: Monday, October 12 & Tuesday, October 13 (6th, 7th, & 8th Grade)

Make sure your student is registered and cleared to participate! Head over to lems.tsd.org to complete online registration and view the full tryout schedule.

Students in Ms. Theriot’s class recently teamed up for a collaborative writing activity packed with creative inventions and magical fantasy. Every Wildcat was fully engaged, writing up a storm, and sharing plenty of silliness and laughter along the way! 📝✨

🐾 What a week for LEMS Volleyball! 🏐⚡

Our Wildcats have been having an incredible season, and this week was extra bright as we celebrated our 8th graders for 8th Grade Night! Everyone showed up in full Neon Day spirit to deck out the stands and cheer on the team.

To make the night even sweeter, all three grades (6th, 7th, and 8th) swept their matches against Peak View Academy with huge wins across the board!

Way to go, volleyball Wildcats, we are so proud of you! 💛❤️

Build something. Challenge an assumption. Solve a problem. Test an idea nobody else has bothered to test.

The 14th Annual Thompson School District Science Fair is open to students in grades 6–12 — and we’re looking for students ready to do more than just talk about big ideas.

🏆 Gift cards (courtesy of Thompson Education Foundation) + awards
🚀 Top projects may advance to regional and state competition
💰 Higher-level competitions can open doors to prize money, scholarships and other opportunities

This isn’t about making a poster and calling it science.
It’s about taking on a real problem.
Testing your idea. Pushing it further. Proving what works.
And creating something strong enough to stand out, compete, and make an impact.

So here’s the challenge: What can YOU discover, improve, invent or prove?

🐾 Science came alive at LEMS yesterday! ⚛️🔬
We had an absolute blast hosting Colorado State University’s Little Shop of Physics! Every science class had the chance to visit the library and dive into dozens of hands-on, interactive experiments and activities.
A giant thank you to CSU Little Shop of Physics for bringing so much spark, curiosity, and fun to our Wildcats! 💛❤️
