Immanuel Lutheran Church Paul “by all possible means save some.” (1 Cor. 9:22)

FOUR FOUNDATIONS OF IMMANUEL’S VISION
We see ourselves as a church firmly founded on Word and Sacrament, rooted in Christ, Scripture, and in the teachings of the Lutheran Confessions. We see ourselves as disciples, joyfully involved in a continuous journey of intentional spiritual growth, holding ourselves and each other accountable to the Marks of Discipleship. We see ourselves as believers livin

What do you bring to Jesus when your hands feel empty?
Join us this Sunday as we continue our Summer of Hope series with the message "Hope with Empty Hands."

In Isaiah 55, God invites us to come, eat, and drink, even when we have nothing to offer in return. In Matthew 14, Jesus takes five loaves and two fish and feeds more than 5,000 people, reminding us that what seems impossible in our hands is more than enough in His.

When we come to Jesus with empty hands, we discover that His hands are never empty. He is a God who provides, who gives generously, and who fills us with hope when hope seems in short supply.

We'd love to worship with you this Sunday!

Because we live in the tension of the "already" and the "not yet."

Jesus has already won the victory over sin, death, and the devil. His Kingdom is here, and yet we still wait for the day when every tear is wiped away and all things are made new.

Until then, we live in hope—trusting His promises as we wait for His Kingdom in all its fullness.

The Kingdom of Heaven isn't explained the way we'd expect.

Instead of a definition, Jesus tells stories that capture our attention, stir our hearts, and reveal the hope of His Kingdom.

📖 Matthew 13

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, decorate, build, walk, ride, hand out candy, and cheer along the parade route. Together, we shared more than 1,000 goodie bags and 500 Jesus figurines with our community while celebrating the ministries of Immanuel Lutheran Church & School. As an added bonus, our "Rooted to Soar" float received 2nd Place in the Non-Commercial Float division!

Most of all, we thank God for the opportunity to serve together. It's a joy to be part of a church family that joins hands to share Christ's love with our community. We pray the seeds planted that day continue to bear fruit and that God uses them to draw more people to the hope found in Jesus.

Enjoy a few highlights from the parade—including one of the beautiful balloon display that helped our float stand out!

Join us for worship this Sunday as we continue our Summer of Hope series!

☀️ Important Update: Due to the forecasted extreme heat, our 9:30am worship service will be held indoors. We look forward to returning outdoors on August 9!

Over the past several weeks, we've heard Jesus share a series of parables about the Kingdom of Heaven. This Sunday, we'll explore what those parables teach us about the hope we have in Christ. We'll also hear one of Scripture's beautiful pictures of the eternal feast God has prepared for His people in Isaiah 25. It's a message filled with hope, and we'd love for you to join us!

📺 During the summer months, we are only able to livestream our 8:00am Classic Grace service. You can watch live from our website:

Romans 8:28 reminds us that God is working for the good of those who love Him, even when we can't understand His timing or see what He's doing.

But Paul doesn't stop there. By the end of Romans 8, he tells us why we can trust that promise:

Nothing, not hardship, loss, suffering, fear, or anything else in all creation, can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38–39)

Our confidence isn't found in having all the answers. It's found in the unchanging love of the One who holds us, works for our good, and never lets us go.

Watch this week's encouragement as we explore the hope found in Romans 8. ❤️
