Immanuel Lutheran Church Paul “by all possible means save some.” (1 Cor. 9:22)

FOUR FOUNDATIONS OF IMMANUEL’S VISION
We see ourselves as a church firmly founded on Word and Sacrament, rooted in Christ, Scripture, and in the teachings of the Lutheran Confessions. We see ourselves as disciples, joyfully involved in a continuous journey of intentional spiritual growth, holding ourselves and each other accountable to the Marks of Discipleship. We see ourselves as believers livin

Matthew wasn't the obvious choice.
In fact, he may have been the last person anyone expected Jesus to call.

But Jesus knew everything about Matthew—and chose him anyway.
And that changes everything for us.

🎒✏️ Help us bless local families through our School Supply Drive!

Immanuel is once again partnering with families at Lago Vista Mobile Home Park to help students start the 2026–2027 school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

You can help by purchasing any of the items listed in the graphic and returning them to Immanuel by Sunday, July 12.

Every backpack, notebook, and box of crayons is a tangible way to share Jesus' love with children and families in our community.

Thank you for helping us support our friends at Lago Vista and prepare students for a great school year! ❤️

What kind of people does Jesus choose?

This Sunday, we'll hear about Jesus calling Matthew—a tax collector many would have considered the last person worthy of being a disciple.

The good news? Jesus knew exactly who Matthew was and called him anyway.

Join us as we discover the hope found in a Savior whose invitation is for everyone.

Life doesn't always go the way we hoped.

There are disappointments, losses, unanswered questions, and seasons we'd never choose for ourselves.

But Christian hope isn't built on everything working out the way we want. It's built on Jesus—His promises, His cross, and His victory over death.

That's the kind of hope that survives real life.

What do you do when God's promises seem impossible?

Abraham's story begins with a promise that made no sense—and a God who remained faithful through it all.

Hope isn't wishful thinking.

It's trusting the One who always keeps His word.

What is "hope against all hope"?

It's the kind of hope that remains when circumstances say otherwise. The kind of hope that doesn't depend on what we can see, understand, or control.

Abraham experienced it. And ultimately, that hope points us to Jesus—the One who brings hope no matter what we're facing.

🌸 Sharing God's love, one flower at a time. 🌸

Before the end of the school year, our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students planted flowers that were delivered to homebound members of our church family. What a beautiful way to remind others that they are loved, remembered, and connected to their Immanuel family.

Thank you to our students for spreading joy and brightening someone's day with these special gifts! 💐❤️
