MVHS is excited to announce and welcome Emily Walgast as our new Head Girls Swim and Dive Coach!
Coach Emily began swimming at the age of eight with the Collindale Swim Team and has rarely left the pool deck since. She competed with the Fort Collins Area Swim Team for eight years before continuing her swimming career at Adams State University for three years.
She later transferred to the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned her degree in Special Education, followed by a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Throughout her academic career, Coach Emily remained connected to the sport, serving as an assistant coach for the girls swim programs at both Fort Collins High School and Mountain View High School.
Already familiar with our athletes and program, Coach Emily is excited to step into the head coaching role and continue building Mountain View Girls Swim and Dive. She is passionate about coaching and looks forward to sharing her lifelong love of swimming while helping our student-athletes grow both in and out of the pool.

Mountain View is excited to announce and welcome Coach Jackie Van Hall as our Interim Head Cheer Coach!
Born and raised in Loveland, Coach Van Hall discovered her passion for cheerleading at a young age. Her cheer journey began at Thompson Valley High School, where she served as a team captain for three of her four years. During her high school career, she was selected to represent Team Colorado and the United States at the International Down Under Bowl on the Gold Coast of Australia.
Before joining Mountain View, Coach Van Hall spent two years coaching youth gymnastics, gaining valuable experience in one of cheer's foundational disciplines while establishing herself in the local community as both a coach and small business owner.
Coach Van Hall is passionate about developing the whole student-athlete. She is committed to creating a positive environment where athletes can build confidence, grow as leaders, and develop a lifelong love for cheerleading both on and off the mat.
Outside of coaching, Jackie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their four children, taking advantage of everything Colorado has to offer.
