This is the Shutdown315-Movement. We are calling a nationwide strike to show how all these jobs play a vital role critical role in our country. I personally live one hour from the Rocky Mountain National Park. What this gutting of federal jobs means, bathrooms won't be cleaned, trash won't be picked up, emergency services won't be available. I was just at Sprague lake and it was like 10 degrees. Some visitors were locked out of their vehicle and a park ranger arrived to assist. This will no longer be possible. My son has just been hired in fire prevention only to be told his job has been frozen. We had a fast moving fire last summer that encroached on our neighbor hood in Loveland CO. Without all these essential services and leadership, fires will burn out of control, crews cannot be organized, there will not be any fire mitigation. This are just a few instances of what is rotating in my world. There are so many being hit. Pick one: Veteran Administration medical services, veteran cementaires, IRS, etc. We can do this with compassion for humanity.

Thanks for all the calls and texts about the Alexander Peak fire. We are close
but not in danger. We are fortunate to be protected by several barriers of geologic features. It has been extremely hot and very dry which does not help. Photos are last night and early this morning
