In the Bible, Shiloh has multiple spellings and more than one meaning. It refers once to a Messianic title (Genesis 49:10) and is also mentioned as a town in Ephraim (Joshua 18:1). The Biblical town of Shiloh is well-known for being the first seat of government of the invading Israelite forces under the leadership of Joshua, where a tent of meeting was set up and judges were seated.
