Tracy Alexander
7th and 8th grade ELA teacher! 🍎📚

About Me
This will be my 12th year teaching public school. I truly love my job! When I am not teaching, I’m likely to be home with my family and my doggos. I love to paint and craft, I am a passionate reader, and I like to dilly dally in the garden. My family consists of my husband, Allen, and my three children: Roman, Miguel, and Sam!

Why Colorado Is My Home
I grew up in California, and spent a year in Chicago. However, it’s Colorado that truly feels like home to me.

This Year I'm Excited About...
Teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA. I want to make reading fun for my students, since it’s something I enjoy so much!

🎉 BINGO DAY was a BLAST at PVA! 🎉

Our Lynx showed up ready to play, win prizes, and have some fun! From colorful Bingo outfits to surprise calls throughout the day, there were smiles and excitement all around. 💜🐾

And of course, our staff couldn’t resist getting in on the fun too! 😂🌈

Thank you to everyone who helped make Bingo Day such a fun and memorable day at PVA. We love seeing our school spirit in action!

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade can submit to Thompson School District’s 14th Annual Science Fair — and yes, there are awards and gift cards (courtesy of Thompson Education Foundation) up for grabs. 🏆

Show Your PVA Pride Every Friday!

Here at PVA, we wear purple or PVA gear on Fridays!

💜 Each Friday, students and staff have their names drawn for a chance to win $5!
💜 If they are rocking their purple or PVA gear, they take home $5!
💜 If not, they are given a PVA shirt — and the prize increases to $10 next week!

Family donations would be greatly appreciated. Cash donations can be brought to the front office. Thank you for helping support our students!

🌟 HOST A TRUNK
We are currently accepting requests from registered Vital Volunteers to host a trunk at this event!

Trunk themes must be appropriate for children as young as 3 years old. Please keep them family-friendly, welcoming, and non-scary. No gore, weapons, or frightening masks, please.
Theme Examples:
Super Mario • Outer Space • Bluey • Animals • Carnival • Sports • Superheroes • Under the Sea

Approved Vital Volunteers interested in hosting a trunk can email Megan Cole at [email protected] to be added to the list.

Note: All candy for trunk hosts to pass out will be provided by PVA.

Hey PVA Lynx! Get ready for a paw-some day of fun and prizes!

Next Thursday, October 1, we're celebrating PVA BINGO DAY!

We want to see everyone participation, so here’s how to play along:

👕 Wear a T-shirt featuring ONE Bingo letter and number combination.
Don't have a specific shirt? No problem! Grab some tape and get creative with a plain tee.

Which combination will you choose?
Here are the ranges to help you pick:
B 1-15
I 16-30
N 31-45
G 46-60
O 70-75

Throughout the day on Thursday, October 1st we’ll be calling out these Bingo letters and numbers. If you're wearing the called combination when it's announced, you'll receive a prize straight from the office!

Maria Grahn | 3rd Grade Teacher

👋 ABOUT ME
This will be my 10th year in education! I started my career in Jeffco Public Schools teaching at the school I went to as a student. I then moved to Northern Colorado and started at PVA. This will be my fourth year at PVA teaching 3rd grade! Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and being outdoors!

I was born and raised in Colorado! I love all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
