Hello friends,
This is a difficult post to write. After much thought and prayer, we have made the decision to close the Little Free Pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Over the past year, we have seen a significant decrease in the number of people using the pantry. On the days we are open, we are now serving only one or two people. While this is a difficult decision, we believe there are other organizations in our community that are currently better positioned to meet ongoing food needs.
To help continue the work of caring for our neighbors, we will be donating our remaining pantry supplies to the House of Neighborly Service, the NOCO CommUNITY Store, and the Food Bank.
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve our community through this ministry over the past several years. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported the pantry through donations, volunteer hours, prayers, and words of encouragement. Most of all, we want to thank our wonderful volunteers. Your compassion, dedication, and faithful service made this ministry possible and touched the lives of so many.
Although this chapter is coming to a close, Trinity United Methodist Church remains committed to serving our community in meaningful ways. We look forward to continuing to care for our neighbors and hope to see you around town.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Trinity United Methodist Church
