Thank you to State Representative Karen Brownlee, who attended last night's Board of Education meeting and presented the Board with recognition from the Ohio House of Representatives for the district's recent "Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction." The award is given to less than 4% of Ohio public school districts and recognizes our clean audit and fiscal stewardship. Congratulations to Treasurer John Espy and the entire district for this recognition!

Congratulations to Rachel Patton, Bus Driver and Custodian, on her end-of-the-year staff shoutout.
Here is what a parent said about Rachel, in her nomination:
“We had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Patton several years ago, as my son's bus driver. For 3 years, I saw her every day taking the best care of the children on her bus. She was diligent about their safety while always being warm and friendly to the kiddos and parents alike. Rachel would make sure the kids always followed safety protocol when crossing the street and, at drop-off, waited to see that a parent or caregiver met each one. Loveland is lucky to have her!”
Thank you, Rachel, for building strong relationships with families! And enjoy the summer!
And congrats to Quinn, who was playing "Superintendent for the Day" when we recognized Rachel!

Congratulations to Kristin Henderson, English Teacher, at Loveland High School, on her end-of-the-year staff shoutout.
Kristin was nominated by a parent who said some awesome things:
“I would like to nominate Mrs. Henderson from LHS to be recognized as an excellent educator. She encourages and engages her students in their learning. This is the second time one of our children has had her, and we are so impressed with how well she connects with and knows each student- certainly not easy to do when teaching so many kids. Our kids talk about her as one of their best and favorite teachers. We appreciate all she does to make her class interesting and enjoyable, while making each student feel valued! We're so fortunate to have her expertise and care in our community!”
Thank you, Kristin, for going above and beyond! And enjoy the summer!

Loveland City School District retirees get together once a month for lunch and to catch up.
Yesterday, Superintendent Mike Broadwater surprised the group with t-shirts to remind them that when you're "Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!" We're so fortunate that the relationships that begin in our buildings never stop!
