The University of Louisville Equine Industry Program is proud to spotlight Liz Crow, Equine Business alumna from the Class of 2010 and Co-Founder of BSW/Crow Bloodstock and Elite Sales. 🐎

From the classroom to the Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Liz has built a career around buying and selling racehorses at public auction and privately while helping manage their racing careers.

Liz credits the UofL Equine Business program with introducing her to an industry she knew very little about before college. Through internships, real-world experiences, and valuable connections, the program helped her take the next step toward a career in Thoroughbred racing.

💬 Liz reflects:
“The program helped introduce me to an industry that I knew nothing about. Without that introduction, I would have never been able to take that next step.”

🐎 Her advice to aspiring racing professionals?
“There is a job out there in the racing industry for everyone that is willing to work hard and show up daily.”

❤️ Some of Liz’s favorite memories from her time at UofL include meeting lifelong friends, discussing Keeneland PPs in the equine computer lab, and attending her first Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs.

We’re proud to see where Liz’s hard work has taken her and grateful that the Equine Industry Program helped open the door to an industry that became her career.👏

We’re excited to welcome Bryce, an incoming freshman from Saratoga Springs, NY, to the University of Louisville this fall as an Equine Business major!

With experience as a NYRA intern, backside worker, aspiring trainer, and passionate horseman, Bryce brings a strong love for the Thoroughbred industry.

We’re thrilled to have him join us and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes him! 👏🐎

D. Wayne Lukas's tradition of bringing kids to the winner's circle is well known. For Bryce Tuohy, it was a life changing moment that led to him becoming a Saratoga regular with big aspirations as he heads to University of Louisville this week.
