Our UofL Equine faculty & staff are crushing it!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate some of the outstanding members of the University of Louisville Equine Industry Program who are making a meaningful difference for our students and the equine industry.

🏆 Jacky Eshelby was honored with the Gustafson Adjunct Award through the UofL College of Business, recognizing her dedication to excellence in teaching, mentorship, service and student success.

🌟 Terri Burch, Shelby Eisenback and Dr. Amy Lawyer were each recognized as 2026 Student Champions, nominated by students for their commitment to student success and the support they provided throughout the past academic year.

These honors are a reflection of what our program is all about: dedicated educators, engaged mentors and passionate professionals who go above and beyond for our students.

These awards are about more than titles—they’re a reflection of the relationships our faculty and staff build with students and the lasting impact they make.
