Lauren Neels (Louisville Alum), from the 4H Extension Office, spent a few days with Middle School JAG Students this week. They clinbed the Leadership Summit & explored what it takes to be a leader. Days were filled with great information and activities.

Project Based Learning (PBL) of last week was a fun one that challenged the students creativity, teamwork & communication skills.
THE IMPOSSIBLE OBJECT
Students were tasked with inventing a device that would solve a problem with School Stress, Transportation or the Environment. Then had to present their products Shark Tank Style.

Wednesday Southeast Community College came to our classroom to talk to middle and high school students about the Surgical Technology program they offer. Elliot did a great job of explaining and educating the students about the career field. It’s great when the students get hands on experience!

Last week High School JAG did an Employer Engagement at Children’s Hospital. They not only learned about opportunities Children’s offer for High School students, but also careers that are available beyond being a nurse or doctor.
