Field Day at ISL was an absolute blast! From sack races and limbo to musical chairs and fun water activities, the day was filled with laughter and excitement. A huge thank you to Kona Ice for helping us cool off with delicious slushies, and to all of our amazing volunteers for making this special day possible! 🎳🎯🏀🧽🍧
Ms. Shellie’s 4th grade class was mentioned on CNN 10 after sending a volleyball and soccer ball signed by students to symbolize teamwork and unity! 🏐⚽️ Such a thoughtful representation of school spirit, kindness, and togetherness — way to go, ISL! 💙✨

We would like to recognize the ISL Debate Team for their efforts at the Wilson Wyatt Championships last weekend. Our 5th–8th graders spent the day competing alongside top high school debaters from the Louisville area, winning multiple rounds and awards.
MashaAllah, out of 44 participants, our students earned: 🥇 1st Place: Top Speaker (Top Debater in the tournament) 🥉 3rd Place: Top Speaker 🏅 4th Place: Top Speaker
We are proud of their hard work this year, as they competed in multiple high school tournaments in the Louisville area, as well as one in Lexington. May Allah greatly reward everyone involved in this project.
