Next Wednesday the Butler Aspen Challenge Group will be going to compete in the Aspen Challenge Louisville. Each school was tasked with selecting one challenge to tackle and implement their ideas. The group chose to take on the task of removing the stigma around one's own mental health by creating safe spaces to speak freely. To solve this problem the group decided they wanted to make a mobile friendly website where students could anonymously chat with others and check their progress. The Lighthouse: The Safe space to remove mental health stigma. The Lighthouse provides a student run website with the task of trying to make students aware of mental health and to try and remove the stigma of mental health. It is a safe space for those who seek guidance in life.
