Profesor Gafanhoto-Gato, with Volta por Cima, teaches at Louisville Dance Alliance Sundays from 4-6, & leads online class 8pm Tuesday/Thursday & 9am Saturday. Drop in fee is $5.
Anjo, with Volta ao Mundo, teaches on Thursday from 5:15-7pm at Cyril Allgeier Community Center! Drop in fee is $10.
Distraido, with Volta por Cima, teaches on Friday from 4-6pm at Cyril Allgeier Community Center! Drop in fee is $5.
Tartaruga, an Angolero, leads a roda on Wednesdays, 5:30pm, just East of the University of Louisville.
There are regularly classes and events on the weekends. For more information about these, please message us. Please message us prior to attending, to ensure class is for sure happening.

The weather is warming and the Capoeiristas are thawing! We're ramping up for the Volta Ao Mundo Batizado in Louisville.
For all area VAM students and interested parties, we'll be jumping in with Gafa's Saturday class at Louisville Dance Alliance in midcity mall from noon to one o'clock. The normal Volta Ao Mundo teacher will be ouf of town at a wedding, so no saturday class at Jutsu Aiki this week.

We have a busy month coming up. We're scheduling a caxixi making workshop for anyone who wants to learn the ancient art of underwater basket weaving. Our Louisville open roda will be at the end of the months. All cities welcome. We also have a couple of demos coming up, so keep an ear out for the berimbau. As always, you are welcome to join us for our Thursday open floors and Saturday classes (which will be moving back to the Shawnee Community Center soon).

Classes are open at Freestyle Fitness studios. Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo leads instruction on Mondays from 8 - 9:30pm. Open Floor, free training and roda every Thursday from 8:30 - 10:30pm with a $10 floor fee. Saturday classes are free and out in the community from 11:30 - 1... or whenever we decide to stop.
