Today is Dolly Parton Day (9.25) and we at Smyrna honored and celebrated her legacy by wearing our awesome Dolly shirts from Churchill Perk and giving away free books as a surprise attendance prize! Congratulations to Mr. Mac’s Kindergarten Class and Ms. Adelere’s 5th grade class for having 100% of students in attendance today! Every student in these classes got to visit Mrs. Cooper’s office and pick out their own book!

Join us for Open House next week! Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 6-7:30 pm we will hold our Annual Open House. First, stop in the cafeteria for a brief meeting with our admin team and then visit your child’s classroom for a short presentation by the teacher. We’ll hold three classroom rotations of about 15 minutes each so if you have multiple children you can visit all the classes. We will have some important paperwork to sign and announcements to share.
