Often a parent’s vision for their child’s success and a schools understanding of what they can provide are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Through methods of collaboration and a strong understanding of both the school and parent perspective, our aim is to bring both parties together, strengthening trust, communication, and establishing a partnership that puts the child first. We want to know who

your child is, both inside and outside of school. We want to hear your vision for their future and your concerns about their here and now. Your perspective will drive our collaboration and will be the guiding light through the advocacy and coaching process. Your child is at school everyday with a group of dedicated, driven educators who are doing all they can to help your child learn curriculum and reach their goals. Juggling a variety of student needs, reaching administrative expectations, and managing school curriculums can make honest, transparent interactions between parents and schools a challenge. We offer a deep understanding of teaching approaches, methodology, and the challenges of supervising large case loads of students amongst dwindling resources, coupled with a passion for making school work for all students.

Our Story

Philosophy: Every child deserves an opportunity to grow, learn, and explore their true potential. Every child has unique and complicated challenges they must overcome. All educational practices should be evidence-based. All interventions require a team and a partnership. Learning is the responsibility of the child, not the parent. Collaboration and cooperation is of the utmost importance to our methodology. We value and respect the opinions of parents, teachers, and children, and our approach is based on listening first, planning second.

Experience: We have spent our adult lives working to understand how children learn, and specifically how children with exceptional challenges learn. Our professional training and experience is purposeful and comprehensive. We chose this career and reaffirm our choice every day when we come to work. The Owl Education Group is a group of professionals with backgrounds in varying fields of education, but a unifying desire to put families and children first in order to empower people for lifelong success. We work collaboratively with schools and community resources to provide the best possible value to clients.

Method: We evaluate each child individually, design a personalized program, and continually assess progress. If we’re not successful we will adjust the program or refer you to another practitioner. We provide services to students ages 4+ with a focus on evidence-based interventions and we continually integrate new methodologies and approaches in order to provide the most effective program for each student.

Services: Education evaluations, academic interventions (reading, writing and math), executive functioning coaching, organizational support, learning center/homework support, kindergarten before and after school enrichment opportunities, and parent information/training seminars.
