My name is Rebecca Winski and I have been working in the Autism field for over 20 years. I started with respite and habilitation at 18 years old after meeting someone with Autism for the first time over a game of Cats Cradle. I was so amazed that I went on to do respite/habilitation as much as I had time to do. I then went on to work in group homes and eventually ran an Autism program at a high school in Arizona where I met my now husband. We now both work In the traditional school setting but we are not getting our fill by working with the Autism community as much as we want. Our goal is to reach as many people in the Autism community as we can to guide those who need help with life skills. If you know someone who could benefit from this please contact us.

This week was riddled with frustration from many students trying to meet their goals. Pushing through the frustrating times is so important. When we are frustrated, we learn new ways to cope that help us more than our old ways of coping. We can look at frustration as a new way for growth. What new small goals did you achieve this week so far?
