Learning doesn't always happen inside four walls.

Time outdoors gives our Lower School students room to move, explore, reset, and connect with one another — all important parts of how young children learn and grow.

Your Annual Fund gift helps support the people, programs, and experiences that make this approach possible.

There is purpose behind the play.

In Lower School, learning happens through exploration, creativity, movement, and discovery. These everyday moments help our students build curiosity, confidence, and independence.

Annual Fund support helps make the experiences that define a Francis Parker education possible.

Two recesses in Middle School?

Yes! Because growing up takes more than classroom time.

At Francis Parker, two recess periods give Middle School students time to reset, connect with friends, participate in clubs, and simply be kids.

Those moments are an intentional part of an environment that helps students build relationships, independence, and a sense of belonging.

Your gift to the Annual Fund helps make experiences like these possible.

There’s more than one way to learn.

At Francis Parker, Middle School students have the freedom to choose spaces that work for them.

That flexibility encourages collaboration, independence, and ownership of their learning. It’s part of a middle school environment designed around the student.

Your gift to the Annual Fund helps make experiences like these possible.

Give For Good!

Some of the most meaningful learning happens outside the classroom. Class retreats give Francis Parker High School students time to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the sense of community that is such an important part of their experience.

Goodbye to a legend who leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.

The idea for the event came from the school’s secretary as a way to turn the sadness of Parton’s passing into a positive celebration.

Congratulations Ella!

As we all mourn the loss of a legend, Francis Parker School of Louisville students and faculty on the Goshen Campus (Preschool - 8th) came together yesterday to celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton. Inspired by her music, philanthropy, compassion, and love of literacy, our school community honored the impact she made on so many lives.

Students and teachers wore Dolly-inspired outfits, sang her iconic hits, and enjoyed reading some of her beloved stories. At lunch, the celebration continued with some of Dolly's favorite foods made by our beloved Chef Rachael. School librarian Lindsy Serrano continued Dolly’s commitment to literacy with a special book donation to the school library.

Yesterday’s celebration was inspired by Mrs. Mo, our school secretary and devoted Dolly fan, whose kindness and love for both Dolly and our school community helped bring this special tribute to life. Thank you, Mo! And thank you, Dolly!
