♥ Thank you, !
Collegiate was named Outstanding Community Volunteer of the Year by Gilda's Club Kentuckiana. Lisa Riker, Head of Middle School, accepted the award.
Gilda's Club said, "Since we moved to this location in 2019, Collegiate has been an incredible neighbor in countless ways. From shared parking lots to shared snowplows, they’re always on board for whatever is needed – a “neighbor” in every sense of the word. Each spring, we have senior student teams visit throughout their final semester. If we need some ‘heavy lifting,’ a small group of students will pop over, individual students are Greeters or weekly volunteers, and my favorite—middle schoolers! These great kids come every Thursday afternoon throughout the entire school year. What begins in August as a sometimes quiet or shy group of 15 students soon becomes a group of young people comfortable and confident at working throughout the building, asking “what else can we do?”, always smiling and eager to help in any way. And even better, their chaperones are the Heads of the Middle and Upper Schools—so they have strong leaders setting that example of service for the community."
We are proud of our partnership with Gilda's Club and look forward to continuing to serve and volunteer throughout the new school year!

🎓 Collegiate Lifers!
💙💛 This group of seniors has truly grown up before our eyes. Our “lifers” have spent nearly their entire childhood at Collegiate, filling our school with laughter, friendships, traditions, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of the young adults they’ve become and grateful to have been part of their story from the very beginning.
