Keith Baisch returns to Mercy Academy as our Head Basketball Coach, bringing with him a deep familiarity with our program and a long-standing history within Mercy Athletics.
Keith previously served as our head coach for seven seasons (2013–2020), leading the Jaguars through several competitive years, including three appearances in the KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16 and consistent postseason success. He was also named the 2017–18 NFHS Kentucky Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.
Before that, Keith spent over a decade on staff under Hall of Fame Coach Mark Evans, helping build the foundation of Mercy basketball. Two seasons ago, he returned to our bench as an assistant under Nick Cann, continuing to invest in our student-athletes and our program.
Keith also brings collegiate experience from his time as an assistant coach at the University of Louisville.
He cares deeply about developing student-athletes and building strong team culture, and he understands what it means to be part of Mercy. We are excited to welcome him back to lead our basketball program.
