Good Morning Jefferson County Camp Families!

As we prepare to head home from camp, we want to remind everyone of our pickup and release procedures.

🚌 Arrival Time
We plan to arrive at the UofL L&N Stadium parking lot by 4:00 PM. Please continue to monitor our page for updates, as our arrival time may vary depending on departure and travel conditions.

πŸͺͺ Photo ID Required
You MUST present a valid photo ID to pick up your camper.

Authorized individuals include:
β€’ Parents/guardians listed on the camper’s application
β€’ Emergency contacts listed on the application
β€’ Anyone listed on the pickup/release form

Your child will not be released if the name on the ID does not match our authorized pickup list.

If there are any changes to your pickup arrangements, please contact our office immediately at 502-569-2344 Please DO NOT EMAIL, as agents and staff will not be checking email on the morning of departure.

βœ… Early Checkout Process
You may arrive 30–40 minutes prior to our arrival to complete the early checkout process.

A tent will be set up with staff members assigned to each bus. Simply show your photo ID, and your camper will be marked as authorized for priority release upon arrival.

Campers whose authorized pickup person has checked in early will be released from the bus first. Once all priority names have been called, we will begin releasing campers one at a time through the standard checkout process.

πŸŽ’ Don’t Forget Your Camper’s Belongings
Please make sure you collect all of your camper’s belongings from underneath the bus.

Lost and found items will be kept for one week following camp. Any unclaimed items after that time will be donated or discarded.

πŸ’š Thank you for trusting us with your children this week! We have had an amazing time at camp, making memories, building friendships, and experiencing all that 4-H has to offer. We are grateful for a wonderful week and look forward to an exciting summer ahead!

Good Thriving Thursday Morning! β˜€οΈ

Camp is going extremely well! Our campers are experiencing leadership, exploring nature, building friendships, and making lifelong memories along the way.
Today is shaping up to be a very warm day, so staying cool, hydrated, and safe is our top priority.

We ask for your patience regarding photos from camp activities. While we love sharing these special moments with families, camper safety is always our number one priority. As county agents, we are often pulled in multiple directions throughout the day responding to camper needs and ensuring everyone has a positive experience.

Unfortunately, we do not have a volunteer photographer with us this year, so our 4-H staff members are taking photos and posting updates as time allows. Because we are focused on supporting campers and supervising activities, we are not always able to attend every class or event to capture pictures.

Please know that we will continue to post photos and updates as often as we can!

Here’s to an amazing Day 4 at the beautiful Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp! πŸ’šπŸ€πŸ•οΈ

It is simply beautiful here, and we are soaking in every moment! πŸ₯°πŸŒ²πŸ•️
