The Catholic Education Foundation’s Salute to “THE GAME” luncheon event roared to a new fundraising record: $700,000 net proceeds for tuition assistance! 🏈

During halftime on September 25, we celebrated this milestone on the field with Presenting Sponsor LPX Group, Archbishop Fabre, and the presidents of St. X and Trinity.

Thank you to our sponsors, guests, and supporters for making this possible. Your generosity will help more families gain the gift of Catholic education across central Kentucky! 💚

Turn Your Required Distribution into a Meaningful Gift

Have you taken your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year? If you are age 73 or older, you may be able to use your RMD to make a meaningful impact through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

A QCD allows individuals age 70½ or older to make a gift directly from an IRA to a qualified charitable organization, such as the Catholic Education Foundation. Your IRA custodian sends the funds directly to the Foundation, allowing you to support Catholic education without first receiving the distribution yourself.

In 2026, eligible individuals may make up to $111,000 in QCDs. When IRS requirements are met, the amount is generally excluded from taxable income and may satisfy all or part of your annual RMD.

Your retirement assets can help provide life-changing educational opportunities for students and families throughout our Catholic school community.

Please consult your tax or financial advisor regarding your individual circumstances.
