Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2030 who successfully completed Summer Seminar this week! This was our first group of lovely new Rockets to participate in this helpful and fun experience. From getting to know each other to exploring campus to preparing for high school, Summer Seminar is always one of our favorite times of year. We can't wait to see each of you again in the fall! 🚀

Congratulations to Caroline Armstrong '28 and Kate Jarboe '27 (returning member) for being selected for the 2026-2027 Catholic Charities of Louisville's Youth Board! ✝️ The board consists of high schoolers who are eager to share the mission and programming presented by CCL. 👏 This is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience service, speakers, donations/drives, and to share these awesome programs with peers!

Way to go, Caroline and Kate! We know you'll represent Assumption very well and make great connections by serving on this board! 🚀

Our PURR-fectly PAW-some Pet Camp featured some awesome FUR-ever friends from the local community: Penny & Violet Peetz, Pixel, Kentucky Humane Society, and Butterfly Valley Rescue & Sanctuary 💗 Thank you all for joining us!

A couple of our athletic camps from last week! ☀️ Campers at our Archery Camp 🎯 had fun learning the fundamentals of archery and fine-tuning their skills, while our campers at Field Hockey 🏑 enjoyed practicing their game, tie-dyeing shirts, slip-and-slides, and more!

Our Rockets who participated in the Seeds of Change Immersive Costa Rica Research trip have safely returned home 💗🇨🇷 We are so proud of them and their hard work over this 10-day experience, and we can't wait for them to share how this opportunity has been transformative when they return to school in the fall! We'd like to congratulate Assumption faculty member, Elizabeth Foley, for her wonderful work for Curate Purchase Inspire and Louisville Visual Art 👏 Elizabeth curated an exhibition, hosted at St. Vincent de Paul, earlier this week.

The exhibition was titled, "From Which Your Life Flows," and the art selected for this collection is inspirational. Each piece was chosen because it evokes "happy memories, contemplation, freedom, and laughter." Congratulations, Elizabeth! 🎨🚀

And they're off! ✈️🇦🇷 Our Mercy Ambassador Exchange Program students departed for Argentina today, and we are so excited for them to be reunited with their Santa Etnea sisters 💗 Have the best time and soak up every moment!
