It’s difficult to know where to begin when writing this post. How do you put 17 years of gratitude, memories, laughter, leadership, and love into a single caption? And how do you even attempt to match the thoughtfulness and eloquence of Principal Young’s beloved Friday BEE newsletters?

Today, as a Saint Agnes community, we officially celebrated and said goodbye to our incredible leader, Principal Jessica Young.

For the past 17 years, Principal Young has poured her heart and soul into Saint Agnes. From the moment she first walked through our doors at just 18 years old, she dedicated herself to this school, its mission, and most importantly, its people. She has been a steady presence through countless milestones, celebrations, challenges, and moments of growth, touching the lives of generations of students, families, faculty, and staff along the way.

To say Saint Agnes will not be the same without her is the truest definition of an understatement. Her genuine love for this community could be felt in every hallway conversation, every encouraging word, every difficult decision made with care, and every student she welcomed with a smile. She has led with grace, compassion, faith, and an unwavering commitment to making Saint Agnes a place where every child felt known, valued, and loved.

While our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye, they are also full of gratitude. We are grateful for the legacy she leaves behind, the countless lives she has impacted, and the example she has set for all of us. The fingerprints of her leadership will remain on Saint Agnes for years to come.

Principal Young, thank you for giving so much of yourself to this community. Thank you for believing in our students, supporting our families, uplifting our faculty, and loving Saint Agnes so well. You will be deeply missed, forever appreciated, and always be a part of the Aggie family.

Please don’t be a stranger. 💙

Today, the Class of 2026 celebrated their final day at Saint Agnes School. They closed this chapter with one of our favorite traditions, a whole-school clap out, before graduation tomorrow night.

Over the past few weeks, their first grade buddies have been placing “Congratulations” yard signs in their yards and sharing their final goodbyes with their eighth grade friends. These special moments have reminded us just how strong the bonds are within our school community.

We have had such an amazing year together! While it is never easy to say goodbye, we are so excited to see what these Aggies will do in this next chapter of life. No matter where they go, they will always have a home here with us. 💙
