Couldn’t make it to last week's live Question Lab, or want to revisit the strategies? Good news: the replay of our latest Rx Question Lab is now available!
In this Question Lab session, Dr. Abraham Titus, a Hematology/Oncology Fellow at the University of South Alabama, works through a set of challenging respiratory-system questions designed to strengthen your USMLE test-taking skills.
Follow along as we review key concepts including the oxygen–hemoglobin dissociation curve, carbon monoxide poisoning, pulmonary findings in congestive heart failure, respiratory drive in chronic COPD, and the relationship between lung disease, hypercalcemia, and nephrolithiasis. Along the way, Dr. Titus breaks down the clinical clues, explains why the correct answer is right, and shows how to rule out the distractors.

The retroperitoneum is a space in the abdomen behind the posterior parietal peritoneum. Retroperitoneal structures do not have a true mesentery and are in contact with the body wall. Why are they important? Injuries to these structures can cause blood or gas accumulation in the retroperitoneal space.
Learn more about the retroperitoneum with the mnemonic SAID PUCKER.

Effective Feedback is a Clinical Skill, Not an Afterthought
Vague feedback like "That wasn't a good presentation" breeds uncertainty, discourages trainees, and leads to burnout. To build a culture of psychological safety and high-yield learning, feedback needs to be specific, actionable, and grounded in observable behaviors.
By mastering frameworks like SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) and ACE (Acknowledge-Clarify-Explore), educators and clinicians can transform daily feedback into a powerful tool for growth and patient safety.
Learn how to communicate effectively, handle difficult conversations, and navigate feedback with confidence.
