St. Patrick Catholic School Louisville, KY

St. Patrick Catholic School Louisville, KY St. Patrick is a National Blue Ribbon Catholic elementary school that serves students in preschool and junior kindergarten through eighth grade.

Patrick School is a Catholic co-educational school serving elementary and middle school students. In partnership with the family, parish and civic community, the school assists students in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values necessary to the development of a mature responsible individual. Inspired by the example of St. Patrick as educator and missionary, students are presented with a two fold challenge; first, to fulfill their intellectual potential through the pursuit of truth and knowledge; and second, to fulfill their human potential by working for the common good in light of gospel values. In concert with the Archdiocese of Louisville's strategic plan for Lifelong Formation and Education, St. Patrick School fosters an atmosphere where academic and cultural differences are acknowledged, respected and celebrated. Patrick School recognizes the individuality of each student. The school seeks to balance academic and spiritual growth with concern for physical and emotional development. Patrick School will provide an environment in which truth and love are developed together.

🍎📚 Happy World Teachers’ Day to the incredible teachers of St. Patrick Catholic School! 💚 Our teachers somehow manage to teach, encourage, comfort, referee, motivate, organize, inspire—and even locate the missing St. Patrick sweatshirt that has been “lost forever” - so today we celebrate YOU! 😂

You give our children so much more than lessons from a textbook. You teach them kindness, patience, faith, courage, responsibility, and the confidence to believe they can do hard things. You celebrate their victories, encourage them through their struggles, and somehow still keep track of homework, lunchboxes, permission slips, and approximately 47 lost water bottles and pairs of glasses. 🙏

Your classrooms are places where curiosity grows, friendships begin, mistakes become learning opportunities, and little hearts are shaped for something much bigger than a report card. Thank you for the countless hours, the endless patience, the extra help, the encouraging words, the prayers, the laughter, and all the little things you do that may never make it into a lesson plan—but make all the difference.

We appreciate you more than words can say. We are blessed to have you in our children's lives. Happy World Teachers’ Day!

The Cosmic Color Walk may be over, but the memories, laughs, and amazing fundraising will last us all year! What an incredibly fun day where all the students and staff from preschool through 8th grade get to celebrate, dance, and simply just be together. Huge thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing one of the best days of the year for our kids.

One of St. Patrick Catholic School's beloved traditions - being able to celebrate mass with grandparents and special guests. It was a full church - full of love and full of prayer. (Bellies were full after the donuts provided by PTO too!).

America may run on coffee, but St. Patrick students in Mrs. Bruder's 6th grade class "Run on Reading"! Students got a donut tasting along with a book tasting, that allowed them to have a glimpse into 20 "new to them" books in hopes they'll venture out of their normal book comfort zones and find new books to add to their "to be read" lists. Which book do you think was the favorite headliner?

Incredible learning takes place both in and out of St. Patrick Catholic School's classrooms! 8th grade students started the year in Mrs. Henry's class by putting their engineering and team building skills to the test. Students worked together to design a boat completely out of cardboard and tape. They then got to test their boats at the Lake Forest pool earlier this month. It was a hot day, but everyone enjoyed getting to cool off in the pool!

Our weekly school masses are a special time for all students and members of St. Patrick Catholic School. Last week, our 5th grade students received blessings over their bibles that they will carry with them through their St. Patrick school journey. This week, our kindergartners will join the rest of the school at mass. We all look forward to our special time together each week!
