Holy Spirit Fills Me Up!

We had a great week of learning! This week we began learning about our five senses in Amplify, Apples in science and reviewed sounds a, i, f, n, s, m, a, t, p in UFLI! Today we tasted some yummy apple slices and graphed our favorite kind with Ms. Hoover's friends!

It's been a busy week and my friends have been working hard! I am seeing so much growth and excited for where we are going! We worked on letters F and I this week in UFLI, continued reviewing numbers 1-10 in math centers, finished our Amplify unit on nursery rhymes, listened to the story of Creation with Mrs. Decker in church this morning, and enjoyed some time with our prayer partners today! Have a blessed weekend 🥰

We started our week off with ice cream to celebrate MAP testing last week! This week we really worked hard in both our reading and math centers! We have stepped up our game during UFLI and started working with our letter trays to build words as well as sound them out in our sound boxes! We took our first UFLI test and I am so proud of how well they did! We are continuing to build our sight word list and learning new words each week! Please make sure to practice those words daily as we begin using them to write sentences and read simple sentences! Those words are crucial to both those skills! Have a blessed weekend 😘

We finished the week strong! We've been working hard in centers on letter and sound identification, sight words, and this week we began segmenting, blending, and writing our UFLI words ❤️ I am so excited to see how much we are growing in just a few short weeks and I know these sweet babies are going to excel this year! I also want to give a shout out to all of the parents for completing homework with your student and practicing those sight words! We took our first sight word test today and they did great! It really makes a difference with practice and I appreciate your support 🥰
