Shelby's Orientation for Kindergarteners is on 8/4/26 from 1pm-3pm. *Parent/Guardians will be contacted to set up a time between 1pm-3pm for them to be here on 8/4/26*

Shelby's Orientation for 1st-5th grade is on 8/5/26 from 1pm-3pm. Please be aware that Kindergarteners have a different Orientation date and time than 1st-5th graders.

Hello Shark Families,

Here is some information about a back to school event that is right down the street from Shelby Academy at 930 Mary St. It is this Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 2pm-330pm. They are giving away 100 backpacks and a free hot meal to everyone who comes out to the event. See flyer from the church for more details.

SAVE THE DATE | It takes a village to raise a child. Come and meet yours at the Village Strong event on April 16, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Republic Bank YMCA. The event hosted by JCPS in conjunction with community partners will feature 45-minute workshops, refreshments, interpretation services, support services, and gift bags. Register today!
