I read an article recently that stated being a great teacher requires us to be able to read the room! That’s so true…every student is unique and special.

If you have beginner students or ones who struggle with note reading/retention, these books are fantastic. Going back to the classics these days. Edna Mae knew what she was talking about.

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Today is the official start of summer lessons.
The 30 Piece Challenge begins today and also, elementary level students will be studying about Beethoven for the next few weeks. A small packet will be sent home. This is a great time to learn more about our music legends in a fun way! Please make sure your child completes each section. This is only for students who have been reading music for 6 months or more.

Congrats to my students Nicole and Natalie on earning their 15 and 30 point cups! They performed at the Gold Cup Recital in Bardstown tonight. Nice way to close out a very successful year!
