Meet Di Tran, our incredible Vietnamese facilitator!
Di Tran is a Vietnamese-born professional who completed his education up to the 6th grade in Vietnam before moving to the United States in 1995, where he learned English and achieved significant academic and professional success. Proudly identifying as "Vietnamese Born, American Made," Di Tran is the author of 24 books available on Amazon. He co-founded the Louisville Institute of Technology and Louisville Beauty Academy, focusing on AI education and beauty services. At the Language Café, he shares his deep knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture, helping attendees gain confidence in their Vietnamese language skills.
We are incredibly lucky to have him, and we hope you can join us for our Language Cafes starting July 23rd!

Want to meet new people and learn a language in a relaxed setting? You've found the right place! Beginning on July 23rd, you can learn Spanish, Portuguese, and Vietnamese on Tuesdays, and Arabic, Somali, French, and Korean on Thursdays. Each language group will have a facilitator, who can teach you the basics of the language and culture. Each week will be hosted by a different immigrant-owned cafe, with some delicious snacks or refreshments. Come to one session or all eight weeks, no experience is needed. All events are free and open to the community!
The Louisville Language Cafe events are presented by the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund in partnership with the Office of Immigrant Affairs and Kentucky Refugee Ministries. Space, snacks, and support are offered by Moka & Co (formerly Haraz), Safai @ Logan Street Market, Ziba’s Bistro, Kiwa, and Abol Cafe.
