As final exam time nears, here are a few tips to help you study more effectively:

At this time we are on a cancellation wait-list for Student Clinic through the remainder of the semester. I am incredibly proud of our students as we navigated some crazy reopening zigs, zags, and enhanced safety protocol as we reopened Student Clinic this semester for the first time since the pandemic required us to pause...

We teach the highest safety standards with regards to keeping both our clients AND our LSM family safe. These standards stay with our students as they enter the professional world as Licensed Massage Therapists.

This week is full of what we call Community Events. These are opportunities for our students to serve the community at local schools, non profit groups, fundraising events, corporate groups, etc.

Yesterday I had the honor to supervise four students at Iroquois High School. On a whim, I posted about the event in a neighborhood page close to the school. before I knew it State Representative McKenzie Cantrell, Councilwoman Nicole George, Ntaba Coffee Haus, and numerous individual community members offered to help make the day extra special for the teachers of Iroquois.

Teachers filed in the entire day to munch on delicious treats, get a 15 minute chair massage, and be uplifted by the community. THIS is the power of Massage. THIS is the Louisville School of Massage difference! THIS is why we do what we do and our tagline, since 1986, remains: Touching people; changing lives.

In light of the forecast inclement weather and rapid deterioration of road conditions with ice, all LSM classes will be cancelled for Thursday, February 3rd. All scheduled office hours will be migrated to work from home. The safety of our LSM family is always our priority. Please call or text Donald if you have any questions or need anything.

WOOHOO! We are proud of our students! Once again, our latest MBLEx (Licensing Exam) report has LSM at a 100% first time pass rate for the reporting time period of July 1--December 31, 2021.

Our students did this while surviving a pandemic, with our school taking the highest safety precautions around, zigging and zagging to keep everyone safe and they STILL blew the licensing exam out of the water! (this compares to 82% for the state and 69% for first time test takers).
